How do I add a picture to a dog's pedigree report?

Adding photographs to pedigrees is free as long as you are logged in to your account. If you don't have an account with us, you'll first need to register to use the site. Once you've logged in, you may begin adding a photo by first pulling up the pedigree of the dog you'd like to add a photograph for. You can find the dog's pedigree by typing its name into the search box in the top right corner of the page where it says "Search for a dog". Once you've arrived on the pedigree report page, there are two ways to edit the record and add a photo for the dog you are viewing. The first way is to go to the Maintenence menu item at the top of the page and clicking the item in the dropdown menu that says "Edit <dog's name> Information". The other way is to click the blue Edit button that appears above the top right corner of the pedigree chart.

Once on the edit page, scroll to the bottom until you get to the Photo section. There will be a Browse button that you can click to select the correct photograph from your computer. Once you've selected the photo you wish to use from your computer you can add some notes about the photograph or the other changes you are making to the dog's pedigree. When ready, click the "Save Photo" button and then you are done. The photo should appear attached to the pedigree.

Also note that it's possible to attach more than one photo to a dog's pedigree. Please be aware that you should have permission to publish the photo from the photographer and there shouldn't be any copyright issues for photos you share on our site.
