What is a dog siblings report?

The siblings report can be used to find dogs that are closely related to each other. You can use it to find brothers and sisters or littermates and other relatives that share the same sire or dam.

What are each of the columns on the siblings report?

Registered Name - This includes the name of the sibling and will also have icons signifying photos  , extra information   and health information   if available. You can hover over these icons to view additional information. Male siblings will show up with a blue background and females will show up with a pink background.

Sex - This shows the sex of the sibling.

Date of Birth - The date of birth of the sibling.

Sibling Type - The familial relationship of the sibling: full, three-quarters, or half. Full siblings describe two dogs that share the same sire and dam (i.e. a direct littermate). Three-quarter siblings are dogs that share three of four grandparents. Half siblings describe dogs that share two of the same four grandparents, but not the same sire.

Sire Name - The father's name of the sibling.

Dam Name - The mother's name of the sibling.

What are the filtering options for a siblings report?

The siblings report allows you to filter out by the sibling type: full, indirect full, three-quarters, half, and same sire. As mentioned above, full siblings describe two dogs that share the same sire and dam, three-quarter siblings are dogs that share three of four grandparents and half siblings describe dogs that share two of the same four grandparents, but not the same sire. Indirect full siblings are two dogs that share all four of the same grand sires and grand dams, but do not share the same sire and dam. And lastly, you can apply the filter to only show siblings of the same sire.
